Debuts
- Blue Star Jets
Are
you nursing a sudden jones to fly out to California for the Bay
Area show Sunday featuring Linkin Park, Korn, Snoop Dog? And do
you have an impulse to make the trip, not on your garden-variety
carrier, but in a privately chartered jet with all the amenities?
You're
in luck. Blue Star Jets, a New York-based company that brokers
charters for well-heeled clients, just began offering service
in Boston. Clients can arrive and depart from private terminals
at Logan, Hanscom Field, and Norwood Memorial Airport. While they're
in the air, passengers can avail themselves of what Blue Star
calls its "air salon" concept, which includes a stylist/beautician,
a plastic surgeon, and a nutritionist who whips up "anti-aging
meals" including specialties like breakfast shortcakes and
crabmeat with avocado-ginger sauce. All of which means you can
deplane in San Francisco nipped, tucked, pampered, and rested,
and ready scream for Linkin's Chester Bennington to do that funky
thing he does. No wonder celebs like Hilary Swank, Kim Cattrall,
Chynna Phillips and Leonard Nimoy fly charter style.
Blue
Star Jets can find you and your friends a light jet for about
$2,000 an hour or you can make the California trip in grand style
with the whole gang abroad a heavy jet with air salon service
starting at $5,000 an hour - Linkin Park tix not included.
